Urinary tract infection (UTI) is one of the most common bacterial infections in humans and a major cause of morbidity among male and female. The pathogens traditionally associated with UTI and their antibiotic sensitivity patterns are changing from time to time and across different environment. Knowledge of the antibiotic resistance is an important factor for choosing an appropriate empirical antimicrobial treatment.

Study was designed to find the prevalence of UTI among patients complaining of UTI symptoms, to determine the causative organism (s) of UTI, and also to measure the antibiotic sensitivity of microbial agents isolated.

Urine samples collected were cultured on Agar media; strains isolated were identified using standard microbiological methods and tested for antimicrobial susceptibility via the disc diffusion method.

A total of 266 samples of outpatients, (156 female and 110 male). E. coli was the most common 130(48.9%) organism isolated, followed by Proteus mirabilis 61(22.9%), Klebsiella pneumonia 44(16.5%), Enterococcus faecalis 13(4.8%), S. aureus 11(4.1%), and Pseudomonas aeruginosa 7(2.6%). Imipenem, Augmentin and ciprofloxacin were found the most susceptible drug against isolated uropathogens, the resistance rate of isolates were more common in Clarithromycin, Ampicillin and Doxycycline.

Study notes increasing of antibiotics resistance among Uropathogenic isolates to most common drugs recommended. Therefore the antibiotics management’s plane should be developed locally in accordance with the susceptibility pattern of the uropathogens to avoid further resistance as well as morbidity of the patient

the influence of solvent polarity on the absorption spectra of synthesized compounds by using spectrophotometer from wavelenght range(200-400nm). the results showed that most of the absorption happened in the U.V. region. the absorption spectra of the synthesized compounds were studied in three solvents (H2O, MeOH, CHCl3) to correlate the effect solvent polarity as well as chemical structures on the UV-VIS region. The absorption maximum (ג max) changed from 291to314nm in water, from 304to318nm in chloroform, from 296 to311 in methanol. A multi-parameters regression model for quantitative assessment has been used to explain the solvent effect on synthesized acrylates.

This paper deals with the effect of using greywater for irrigation on the properties of desert soils and the growth of Lilium, oats and sunflower under controlled greenhouse conditions. The studied greywater treatments were 0, 25, 50, 75 &100% v/v. pH and electrical conductivity values of greywater used in this study were 8.68 and 2.05 dS/m, respectively. Results showed that irrigation with greywater has an effect on both soil soluble phosphorous and exchangeable phosphorous after plant harvest. Thus, a significant amount of phosphorous can be add to soil through the reuse of greywater. Detergents in washing wastewater contain many contaminants, which in turn affect pH values and electrical conductivity. Whereas, irrigation treatments at a rate of 100% of greywater showed an increase in pH and electrical conductivity values compared to the control and other treatments. Results also showed a clear effect on plants productivity (Biomass), as observed by a decrease in wet and dry weight of plants shoots and root in the treatment 25%, and the best productivity for them during treatment was with 50% and returned to decrease to 100% of greywater. This indicates that irrigation with high concentrations of greywater may reduce the productivity of some plants, including the studied species.

The objective of this study was to formulate perfume with natural resins that include frankincense, benzoin, and mastic. In this study, the perfume was formulated using the following ingredients: 2% of each resin; 5% of perfume oil (from Delta aromatic); 4% of glycerin as a humectant; 2% of sodium salicylate as a preservative; and ethanol in distilled water as ingredient’s carriers. The fragrant scent is owing to the 11 % of aromatic ingredients in an alcoholic solution. Both benzoin and frankincense are used as scents and fixatives, which can prevent the more volatile fragrance ingredients from evaporating too rapidly. Ten blended experiments of formulated perfume were undergone to evaluate by a sample of people who were selected randomly from Sirte University to choose the best-blended experiment scent among the ten experiments. Therefore, homogeneity, pleasing aroma, strength, and stability were evaluated as quality parameters of this perfumed formulation. However, a number of different approaches for enhanced perfume solubility by using different solvent ratios of ethanol in water have been proposed and applied to deliver the maximum flavors of using resins.

This study will help to reduce chemical content in perfumery manufacturing by using natural sources that have amazing ascent. All the natural resins that are used in this research are purchased from local sources.
