Abstract
The topic of sustainable development has garnered significant attention from
many countries around the world, including Arab nations, due to its importance in
preserving natural resources and protecting the environment from degradation,
However, the exacerbation of political, security, economic, and social issues in most
Arab countries, particularly Libya, has led to a misallocation of resources, this has
resulted in economic, social, and environmental problems due to the political crisis
that Libya is experiencing. The research recommends adopting solutions and
exploiting promising development opportunities by completing the construction of
state political, military, and security institutions, transcending political differences,
calling for a comprehensive national dialogue, activating the rule of law, and adopting
a strategy that suits the reality of the Libyan economy.
